dhin

  • One day. One paper card. A simple list for today.

dhin is a quiet daily planner for Apple devices — not another inbox of projects, priorities, and overdue badges. Open the app and you’re on today: a single card with room for what matters now. Write it down. Check it off. Move unfinished work to tomorrow only when you choose. Keep a few goals nearby, not in the way. Export a clean daily note when you’re ready.

WHY DHIN
• One card, one day — not Inbox / Today / Upcoming / Projects
• Simple on purpose — a list, checkboxes, and almost no chrome
• Soft goals — link today’s work to a small set of life goals without cluttering the card
• Obsidian-ready — share or write YYYY-MM-DD.md with checkboxes and [[wikilinks]]
• Apple-native — works offline; syncs across iPhone, iPad, and Mac with iCloud. No dhin account.

TODAY’S CARD
Open to a blank sheet for today. Type what’s next. Inline checkboxes. One level of nesting when you need it. Reorder when it helps. Completed items stay muted until midnight. Incomplete tasks never auto-carry — use Move to next day when deferral is intentional. Browse past days from the calendar when you want history.

GOALS, SEPARATELY
Keep a short list of active goals on their own sheet. Optionally whisper a goal onto a task — a quiet chip, not another form.

EXPORT TO OBSIDIAN
Share Markdown, or bookmark your vault folder and write the daily note in place. Format is Obsidian-friendly: date heading, task checkboxes, goal wikilinks, and a goals-referenced section.

WHO IT’S FOR
People who want a calm day on one card — especially if longer notes already live in Obsidian. If you want Things, Todoist, or a second brain inside the app, dhin is not that. If you want today’s list kept simple and shipped out cleanly, it is.

Privacy-minded by design: your days live on device and in your private iCloud. No dhin servers.
